PAUL REVERE 1818

Paul Revere, the colonial patriot, did not, in reality, shout out the phrase, ?The English are Coming,? for which he is perhaps most famous. On his ?midnight ride? from Boston to Lexington, Mass. to inform fellow patriots John Hancock and Samuel Adams, Revere tried to be as quiet as possible. He died on May 10, 1818.
